We have many exciting things planned for Earth Week, including daily environmental topics, environmental videos, classroom books, and a Restore Our Earth Challenge (see below). More information to come!
Restore Our Earth Challenge – In recognition of this year’s global Earth Day theme, “Restore Our Earth,” we are challenging all Ox Ridge students to take action and do their part to make a difference. From April 19-30, students are encouraged to do at least one thing that helps Restore Our Earth. Ideas include, but are not limited to: recycling, up-cycling, planting seeds or an organic garden, composting, promoting pollinators with a bee bath, and collecting litter. Please take a photo of your child doing their part to Restore Our Earth and send to oxridgepto@gmail.com. Any questions, please contact Christina Kreuz.
Ox Appreciation Staff Luncheon (catered by Michael Joseph’s).
DANCE ON THE DL WITH OX MOMS!

Let’s shake our tail feathers together for some socially distanced, mask-wearing, pop locking fun! Register here. You will see a “SIGN UP” button on the page. Click that and then follow the necessary prompts. If you would like any information about the air-purifying/filtration systems at the studio or capacity details, please do not hesitate to reach out to Samantha Bohlen with any questions or concerns. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy a night out together!
On Tuesday, March 16th (rescheduled from March 24th), K-3 + ELP will meet with Alicia D. Williams, author of Genesis Begins Again, which received the Newbery and Kirkus Prize honors, was a William C. Morris prize finalist, and won the Coretta Scott King–John Steptoe Award for New Talent. Alicia D will be talking about her debut picture book biography, Jump at the Sun: The True Life Tale of Unstoppable Storycatcher Zora Neale Hurston and each child will be gifted a copy of this extraordinary book thanks to the generosity of the PTO.
